Our goal at TLC shepherds is to produce oversized, old-fashion, straight back, family German Shepherds.

We are very proud of our dogs, and it shows in the way we raised and care for them. Our dogs are home/hand raised with our 3 children & lots of TLC.

We have continuous service after the sale of our dogs. All dogs come with a written health & hip guarantee and have been vet-checked, socialized, wormed, vaccinated to date and most importantly loved!

We produce a wonderful “Pet” German Shepherd Dog. Because we do not focus on showing or sport dogs we can look closely at what is needed for the perfect family temperament.

About Us

Our first experience with the German Shepherd breed came from a AKC registered female named Dutchess. We purchased her for protection, but soon discovered her temperament, intelligence and loyalty made her the perfect family companion. At the time, our first son was one year old. We never had to worry about our child in her presence. Although Dutchus was spayed, she seemed to want a litter of her own. She actually raised two stray kittens, nursing & cleaning them as if they where her own. “Boots still thinks he a dog today”. Already in love with the breed we decided to share with others the joy, we experience daily with our dogs. It is a lot of upkeep for us, but it is worth it. They give us so much.

The shepherd breed is a multipurpose working dog used for herding, military, search & rescue, seeing eye dog, therapy, police work, family guardian, and best friend.
